If you are seeking a peaceful, restful holiday in the heart of the French countryside, 'la France profonde', then you have come to the right place. Here you will find tranquillity, where the only sounds are those of the birds or the local farmer's tractor passing by. Enjoy warm croissants for breakfast bought at the local bakery; take a leisurely walk to stimulate your appetite for a delightful lunch in the sun. Then why not spend a lazy afternoon by the pool reading that thriller and taking a dip when you get too hot?
Les jacinthes' means 'bluebells' in French. We named our gite after the bluebells which appear each year in a corner of the meadow, attached to the property.
The gite is attached to our house though totally independent. It was originally a 17th century farm cottage but has now been renovated to a high standard to provide holiday accommodation for 5-7 people. 
On the ground floor is a reception room with original bread oven and heavy beams
and a fully equipped modern kitchen cum diner.
From the reception room stairs rise to a large sitting-room with TV and DVD player,
a double bedroom 
and a shower bathroom.
On the top floor is a double bedroom, a large single bedroom and a bedroom with two small beds suitable for children. There is also a second shower bathroom.
At the back of the property, outside the kitchen door, is a patio with table and chairs and a gas barbecue.
Visitors have full use of the gardens, meadow and swimming-pool.The swimming-pool has a salt filter system which gives the water a silky feel and is better for the eyes and skin than chlorine. Loungers are provided by the pool.
